OMA Winter Travel FAQs

In inclement weather, here are a few things to keep in mind:

When should I contact the Airport?

The Airport operates and maintains the runways, taxiways, terminal building, and associated roadways. During inclement weather, the Airport is responsible for clearing snow from these areas. As a reminder, even if airline flights are cancelled or delayed, the Airport Terminal remains open.

If you have questions related to the above, please contact us at [email protected] or call 402-661-8000.

When should I contact my Airline?

At OMA, each airline has their own staff. Each airline is responsible for the handling of their passengers and aircraft. This includes passenger check-in, ticketing, rebooking, baggage handling and aircraft parking, loading, unloading, fueling and deicing operations.

If you have questions related to the above, please contact your airline.

What should I do if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

We recommend you check your flight status with your airline before you head to the airport. If there have been any changes to your itinerary, please contact your airline to discuss your options.
