At Eppley Airfield, we understand how the airport’s construction and expansion can impact our mission of delivering premier customer service for travelers.
Because of this we are building a team of Volunteer Ambassadors who care about Omaha, who want to help travelers, and who are excited about OMA’s coming changes.
We have a vision of being the best airport in the Midwest and the Volunteer Ambassadors will help us get there.

To join the mission, fill out the form below and an OMA team member will reach out to answer any of your questions and schedule training.
In cooperation with OMA, Visit Omaha is growing the Volunteer Ambassador Program to help Eppley Airfield travelers find their way around the airport and learn more about the city of Omaha.
Volunteer Ambassadors are a friendly face that travelers can ask for information about Eppley Airfield and Omaha. Spread throughout the airport, Volunteer Ambassadors assist travelers with whatever questions they may have.
In a 4 hour shift, an Ambassador may assist people with a variety of questions such as directing travelers to the Ride App Pickup area, helping travelers find the nearest airport restroom, or informing visitors about Omaha area attractions.
After signing up, a member of the OMA team will contact you to ask a few questions and schedule training with a group of other Ambassadors. You’ll learn about Eppley Airfield’s way of delivering premier customer service, tour the airport, learn about Omaha area attractions, and hear travelers’ frequently asked questions.
After the initial training, you’ll be paired with a current Ambassador to shadow and learn from them for 3 shifts.
Construction changes and additional information will be provided throughout the year.
